Our Mission

Our mission is to create sustainable and authentic travel experiences that bring together nature, culture and meaningful encounters. We want to make the beauty of the jungle and its wildlife truly tangible – while also raising awareness for the protection of this remarkable environment.

Families and children hold a special place in our hearts. That's why we design our tours so that even the youngest travellers can explore the rainforest safely, excitingly and in an age-appropriate way – with hands-on activities, playful experiences and unforgettable moments in the heart of nature.

Our Values

At KANOPI Treks, genuine encounters, mindfulness and responsible travel are at the core of everything we do. We want to introduce our guests to Sumatra in a personal and authentic way – far from mass tourism and fixed standard routes.

It matters to us that travel not only creates beautiful memories, but also makes a positive contribution to nature and local communities. That's why we work closely with people from the region and design our tours to be close to nature, tailored to each group and crafted with great attention to detail.

Here are some testimonials from our happy guests who have experienced the magic of our Jungle Treks.
